Privacy Policy

We take privacy seriously. Here are the quick points of our privacy policy:

  1. Hemisphere collects information you provide to us so that we can provide you our services.

  2. Your personal information will never be given to third-party marketers.

  3. Hemisphere will never allow anyone else to view your information, unless you specifically and explicitly ask us to.

  4. Any responses you give are encrypted before being stored.

  5. We use cookies.

  6. We do our utmost to protect privacy, including the use of SSL encryption. However, you do acknowledge that information transmitted across the internet can be insecure, and we may not be able to protect you 100%.

  7. We may use analytics software, however, we will never transmit personal information you provide to Hemisphere to these third-party providers, specifically including any questions or answer you provide to Hemisphere.

  8. We may need to change this policy. If we do - and those changes impact you - we'll let you know.

The terms used here are defined in the Terms of Use.

Information Hemisphere Collects

Hemisphere collects certain information from you in order to provide the services. Here is a list of all information we collect about you:

1. Your email

Hemisphere collects your email when you register. We do this to avoid fake or spam accounts and so we know we're communicating with you personally. This provides us assurance that any information emailed to you reaches the same person who uses their Hemisphere account.

2. Information you enter into Hemisphere

We collect information you enter into Hemisphere so that you may review it later, or so that we may provide you with our services. This might include any check-ins, which we store in order to provide you any graphs or visual representation of the information you gave us.

3. Information about your computer

We collect information about your computer to avoid security breaches or spam. We do this to protect legitimate users of Hemisphere.

How Information Is Used

We respect your privacy unconditionally, and we only ever use the information we collect to provide you with the best services we can.

1. We use your information to provide the best service we can

Put simply, we collect your information because if we didn't, we couldn't provide you a service.

2. Your information will never be sold

Your information will never be sold - or otherwise provided in any way - to any third-party marketer.

3. Your information will never be given to other users

Unless you expressly ask us to, your information will only ever be able to be viewed by you. An example where you give us permission to provide someone else with information includes support alerts, in which case we give that person your email address so they can identify you.

Responses & Answers

All responses to questions are encrypted before being stored. This means that even if Hemisphere's database was leaked to the world, your responses remain private.

Like almost any site, we use cookies to identify you, this allows you to use Hemisphere in an easier way. We never use cookies to track you once you leave Hemisphere. No personal information is stored within cookies.

Hemisphere protects the transmission of data across the internet with SSL encryption. Hemisphere has been developed with security in mind, and we do our utmost to protect your privacy. Obviously, nothing is certain, so you do acknowledge that information transmitted across the internet can be insecure and you agree that we may not be able to protect you 100%.

Third Parties

We will never provide your information to third-party marketers. We may use services such as Google Analytics to monitor Hemisphere's usage. This is for general usage gathering and error tracking purposes only and will never be used to transmit personal information - including any responses - to these providers.

Just like the Terms of Service, sometimes changes need to be made to this privacy policy. If changes are made that are material, we will let you know by sending you an email or other communication before the changes take effect. The notice will designate a reasonable period of time after which the new terms will take effect. If you disagree with any changes, then you should stop using Hemisphere within the designated notice period. Your continued use of Hemisphere will be subject to the new privacy policy.
